This is a song called the Prayer of Jabez.
It was written after reading Bruce Wilkinson's book of the same title, for a sermon about God's power. It has been used as a prayer song several times at First United Methodist Church in Gainesville, FL.
The actual Prayer of Jabez is a couple of lines from an otherwise rather uninteresting section of the Old Testament book of 1st Chronicles. Specifically, chapter 4, verse 10. I will put a copy of the actual music on this site as soon as I can. At least for now, I am not exerting any rights to the song -- however, as a courtesy, please let me know if you play it for any group where two or more are gathered together.
I hope it will bring the same growing spiritual power to you that it has brought to millions of other people.
